Why Marquette Camp?
Marquette Lacrosse is thrilled to take the field again in 2025 to complete our thirteenth season as a program. 2023 marked our best season yet as we earned our first trip to the NCAA Tournament and finished the season ranked #23 in the country.
Marquette’s four pillars of Faith, Excellence, Leadership, and Service are not only exemplified by the University and its students but also by the Marquette Women’s Lacrosse team. Our student-athletes work to represent these values on and off the field.
Coach Black’s coaching philosophy is based on the term “maximizer.” To our coaching staff this means “to get the best out of each player by creating a system based on the strengths of the team.” Together we aim to figure out what our players can do best together as a unit so we then can create a system for the team and players to be able to excel at the highest level.
This coaching philosophy will be applied at the camp but at the individual level, the coaching staff will be aiming to “maximize” each camper’s individual abilities and help bring them to the next level.
Come out and join us on the field this summer!
